Pauline Frances Norton, 89, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, April 7, 2024, at LaVerna Village, in Savannah, Missouri. She was born Sept. 30, 1934, in St. Joseph, daughter of Etta and Ernest Reed. She worked at ADCO, where she retired from after 30 years.

Pauline enjoyed going to garage sales and thrift stores. She was a great mother, grandmother and friend and cared deeply about others.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Melvin Norton Sr.; her parents; children, Peggy Davis, Cherri Ann Norton, Melvin Norton Jr., and Billy Norton; siblings, Tootie, Mary and Charles Reed.

Survivors include children, Paula Norton of DeKalb, Missouri and Cresser (Brandy) Norton, of St Joseph, grandchildren, Danny, Danielle, Shawn, Abigail, Timmy, Billy, Angel, Warren, Trisha, James, Layla, Raven and Rayne; great-grandchildren, Danny Jr., Delilah, Delaney, Braelynn, Sarah, Gunner, Houston, Chrislen, Harper, Kane, Brielle, Bentley, Kianna, Jordi, Miguel, Rayne, Ryan, Jessica, Chrissy and Ashley; and numerous great-great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be 2 p.m., Friday, April 12, 2024, at the Rupp Funeral Home with Interment following at Westlawn Cemetery in Dekalb.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home.

Memorials are requested to the Noyes Home for Children.
