Verna Ruth Howard Kirschner, 89, St. Joseph, passed away Dec. 31, 2023.

She was born Sept. 19, 1934, in Hamburg, Iowa.

Farewell Services 11 a.m. Saturday, March 30, First Lutheran Church, 302 S. 10th St., with a light lunch to follow in the social hall.

Graveside Services and Inurnment 2 p.m. Saturday, March 30, Memorial Park Cemetery. For medical reasons, the family requests that no perfumes, colognes or strong fragrances be worn to the services. The procession for the graveside service will leave from Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
