STEWARTSVILLE, Mo. – Michael “Tony” Anthony Zuptich, 61, of Stewartsville, Missouri, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024, in St. Joseph. He was born Jan. 28, 1963, in St. Joseph, son of the late Margaret and Charles Zuptich Sr. He graduated from Benton High School class of 1981, worked at Peach Tree Door, Stroud Trucking, Exide Battery, most recently he was a CNA Certified Nurse Assistant for several health care organizations. He loved to fish, listen to music especially classic Rock, antiquing, avid Kansas City Chiefs and baseball fan, but most especially he loved spending time with his grandchildren. He was a member of St. James Catholic Church.

Tony was preceded in death by wife, Linda Zuptich; his parents; daughter, Tara Phillips; brother-in- law, Robert Row.

Survivors include son, Jeremy (Krystle) Harris, Gulfport, Mississippi; daughter, Jenny Pace, St. Joseph; brothers, Mark (Becky) Zuptich, St. Joseph, Richard (Elizabeth) Zuptich, Trenton, Missouri, and Joe (Susan) Zuptich, St. Joseph; sisters, Gail Row and Roseane (Ted) Wolfe, both of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Makayla, Ashlyn, Talan, Tenley, and Tatum; great-grandchildren: Amara and Journey.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, March 22, 2024, at 10 a.m. at the St. James Catholic Church, Father Joseph Totton Celebrant. The Rosary will be recited at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, and the family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.
