Young, Petty Officer 1st Class Clancy C. 1994-2024 Manama, Bahrain

MANAMA, Bahrain – Petty Officer 1st Class Clancy Collin Young, active duty military in the U.S. Navy, stationed at Manama, Bahrain, passed away Friday, March 8, 2024, in Bahrain.
Clancy was born Nov. 5, 1994, in Lincoln, Nebraska, the son of Kevan and Kathleen (Kane) Young, who survive.
Clancy graduated from Lourdes Central Catholic High School, Nebraska City, Nebraska, in 2013.
Clancy joined the Navy and graduated from Great Lakes Naval Training Center, May of 2014. He was stationed in Honolulu, Hawaii, Rota, Spain, and Manama, Bahrain. Clancy served just shy of 10 years as Information Systems Technician.
Clancy enjoyed Kansas City Chiefs and Notre Dame Football, hunting, and fishing. He was dearly loved and will be forever missed.
Clancy is survived by parents, Kevan and Kathleen (Kane) Young, of St. Joseph; siblings, brother, Jesse and wife Nicole Young, of Lincoln, Nebraska, sisters, Kasey Beck (Jason), of Brock Nebraska, Kelly Ann Cole (Travis) of Brock, Nebraska, Delaney Heard, of Auburn, Nebraska, Katherine Young, of Lincoln; grandmother, Ruth Young, of Cortland, Nebraska; girlfriend, McKaylah McKenzie, of Virginia Beach, Virginia; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Services will be Monday, March 25, 2024, 11 a.m. at CrossPointe Community Church, 2501 South Belt Highway, St. Joseph. Interment will full military honors will follow at Blakely Cemetery. Visitation will precede the funeral, beginning at 9 a.m. at the church.
