Tim C. Levell, 66, St. Joseph, passed away Saturday, March 16, 2024.

He was born June 28, 1957, in Oakland, California, to Everett and Joyce (Acord) Levell.

Tim grew up in California, where he owned and operated a shoe repair business for 10 years and was a volunteer firefighter. He later moved to St. Joseph, where he was a forklift operator for Johnson Controls.

Tim married Cynthia Bailey on Aug. 7, 2000. She survives of the home.

Tim liked hunting in his younger years, and he still enjoyed fishing and gardening.

He was an outgoing fellow and a big character with a sense of humor who liked to make other people laugh.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jay Levell; and beloved dog, Penny.

Survivors include his wife of 23 years, Cynthia; children, Kaylynn, Morgan and Jessica; grandchildren, Hunter, Trent and Alyssa; siblings, Rod Levell (Edna), Guy Levell (Kristi), and Judy Trabeola (Pete); former wife, Arlean; other extended family; and beloved dog, Ruby.

Farewell Services and Public Livestream 10 a.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to the St. Joseph Animal Shelter or a charity of the donor’s choice.
