Julie Anne Young, 59, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, March 1, 2024, in St. Joseph. She was born Nov. 13, 1964, in St. Joseph, daughter of the late Joy and Alvin Christofferson Sr. She attended Mid- Buchanan High School and worked as a supervisor at Godfathers pizza and was a housekeeper.

Julie was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Angela Noland.

Survivors include companion, Bill Linder, of the home; daughter, Deanna (Ronnie) Livsick; sons, Jamie (Delia) Young and Dusty (Danielle) Young; 12 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; brothers: Alvin (Tracy) Christofferson Jr., John Christofferson, Jeffry Allen (Bonnie) Christofferson; and a sister, Jeanie (Danny) Caw.

The family will receive friends from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 2 p.m., Friday, March 8, 2024, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Agency Cemetery.
