Barbara Jo Rock, 78, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, Feb. 25, 2024, in St. Joseph. She was born May 12, 1945, in St. Joseph, daughter of the late Leota and Pete Rock Jr. Barb graduated from St. James Catholic School, and the Convent of the Sacred Heart. She worked at St. Joseph Water and Steam, St. Joe Light and Power Bus Barn as secretary, and the Pizza Royal. She enjoyed cooking, and was a former member of St. Joseph Ukrainian Catholic Church.

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents, and a brother, Stanley Luis Rock.

Survivors include two brothers, Steve Rock and Patrick (Vickie) Rock, of St. Joseph; as well as several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank the staff at the St. Joe Senior Manor for their kind and compassionate service to our sister.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream 10 a.m. Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Mount Olivet Cemetery.

Memorials are requested to a charity of the donors choice.
