Christopher “Big PaPa” Boyd Hayes, 56, St. Joseph, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 21, 2024.
He was born on Jan. 7, 1968, to Billy Hayes and Roxanne Hayes Dalbey.
He was preceded in death by his father, Billy Hayes; stepfather, Dale Dalbey; and his special love, KP Kline.
Survivors include his mother, Roxanne Dalbey; sister, Marcie Reital; brothers, Robert (Trisha), Russell and Mike (Wanda) Hayes; children, Ashley Hayes, Sharmyn Shryock, Jessikah and AJ Irish Hayes, Savannah McClaskey Hayes, Sammee, Lucie and Chase Kline, TJ, Jeffrey, and Haley Turner; several grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins and so many friends like family, and his buddy (dog), Dozer.
Heartfelt thanks to Jason, nurse of Mosaic Hospice, and Diversify Care Home for helping Chris through his last days.
A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time. Cremation under the direction of Simplify Cremations & Funerals.
