Patricia Jean Thompson-Dike, 66, of St. Joseph, passed away Thursday, Feb. 15, 2024, in a St. Joseph health care center. She was born Aug. 22, 1957, in Elmo, Missouri, daughter of the late Marvis and Marvin Johnson. She graduated from West Nodaway High School and Platt-Gard Business School.

She enjoyed dancing, spending time with friends, eating at El Maguey, she was very involved with her church, and she recently started a cancer ministry. Patty was a member of the Grace Calvary Chapel Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Charlene Drysdale and Vicki Beeman; brothers, Ricky, Ron and Keith Johnson.

Survivors include son, Jeremy Thompson, of Waukee, Iowa; sister, Debbie (David) Cooper; sister, Cristina (Mike) Gigliotti; brothers, Kenny (Nancy) Johnson, Kevin (Debbie) Johnson, and Todd Johnson; sister-in-law, Shirley Johnson; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her church family and friends.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Saturday at the Rupp Funeral Home. Funeral services and public live stream; 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, 2024, at the Rupp Funeral Home.
