SAVANNAH, Mo. – On Sunday, Feb. 2, 2024, Jean Ann Arn, 78, of Savannah, Missouri, peacefully passed from this world and entered her Heavenly home.

Jean was a Godly woman who deeply loved the Lord, her family and her many friends. She enjoyed quilting, gospel music, Cherry Mash candy bars, gardening and Bible study. An avid Scrabble player, Jean played anyone at any time!

Jean was born on Dec. 3, 1945 (12345- which thrilled her to no end), to the late Walter A. and Rosella Ann Anderson. Her twin sister, Jane Suedemeyer, and brother Walter, Jr. proceeded her in death as did her son, Officer Bradley T. Arn.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years, Ronald Arn, of Savannah; daughter, Michelle (Brian) Poelma, of Columbia, Missouri, and daughter-in-law, Andrea Arn, of Savannah. She is also survived by many beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren: Molleigh (Dalton) Haenni, Layla and Scout: Malloree (Calvin) Froehlich, Evelyn and Tatem and Sadie Poelma.

Jean’s family will receive friends and family on Thursday, Feb. 8, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Breit and Hawkins Funeral Home, in Savannah. A celebration of a life well lived will be held on Friday, Feb. 9 at 10 a.m. at the same location. Internment to occur at Memorial Park, St. Joseph. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
