Gerald C. Pasch, 90, St. Joseph, passed away Monday, Jan. 29, 2024.
He was born Dec. 6, 1933, to Truman E. and Stella A. (Langley) Pasch in Nodaway County, Missouri.
Gerald married Neva Atwoil Bowman on Sept. 7, 1954, and they were married for 64 years before her passing on Dec. 14, 2018.
He was a member of the United States Army from 1954-1956. He worked as a manager for Sherwin-Williams where they affectionately called him “Jerry”. He was also a member of St. Paul United Methodist church and Eagles Lodge. He was a member of the family band, The Paschstashios, he enjoyed playing the tambourine and belt buckles.
He was preceded in death by his parents and wife; brother, Earl Pasch.
Survivors include his children, Eldon, John, and Joseph Pasch; grandchildren, Clinton (Melody), Erica, and Clayton Pasch, Lauren Dube (Lyle), Zachary (Tory), Alan (Savannah), and Noah Pasch (Lauren Moore), Johnna Harrison (Ryan), Joey and Jacob Pasch; great-grandchildren, Ivan and Elijah Brewer, Ashton, Madison, Emerson, Elliott, and Everlee Pasch, Neva and Walden Harrison; sister, Phyllis Adamson.
Farewell Services noon Saturday, Feb. 10, First Christian Church, Burlington Junction, Missouri. Inurnment Ohio Cemetery, Burlington Junction. The family will gather with friends 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Meierhoffer Funeral Home & Crematory.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial gifts to Friends of the animal shelter of St. Joseph.
