Sandra Kay Brown, 67, of St. Joseph, passed away Sunday, Jan. 28, 2024, in a St. Joseph hospital. She was born June 11, 1956, in St Joseph, and graduated from Central High School. She was a homemaker who enjoyed helping people, going to church, cleaning and spending time with her family.

Sandra was preceded in death by her mother, Elva Mulvaney; father, Allen Newland; brothers, Ronald and Gordon Putnam.

Survivors include sister, Rosetta Goldizen; former husband, Dewey Brown, of St. Joseph; and stepsister, Jackie Williams.

The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. on Wednesday with funeral services following starting at 3 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, 2024, at the Rupp Funeral Home.
