SAVANNAH, Mo. – Ruth Marie Anderson, 92, of Savannah, Missouri, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, Jan. 7, 2024. She was born July 1, 1931, in King City, Missouri, to Earl and Elizabeth (Pierce) Tomlinson. She married Loyde H. Anderson on Dec. 10, 1945, in Atchison, Kansas, and he preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2016.
Ruth was a busy person who could work on and fix anything. She loved all her family, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She would make the best homemade Christmas candy for her family during the holidays.
Survivors include her two sons, Ronald (Harriet) Anderson, of Sacramento, California, and Loyde Dean (Wanda) Anderson, of Savannah; three daughters, Sandra Fawcett, of Molalla, Oregon, Martha (Mark) Mozinski, of Savannah, and Julia Hartman, of Amazonia, Missouri; one brother, J.B. Tomlinson, of Harrisonville, Missouri; 13 grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband and son, Earl Anderson.
Visitation and family receiving hour will be 10 to 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home, in Savannah. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 11, 2024, at Breit-Hawkins Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Whiteville Cemetery in Whitesville, Missouri.
