Virgil P. Holland, 58, of St. Joseph, passed away Friday, Dec. 29, 2023, at his home. He was born May 31, 1965, in St. Joseph, son of Shirley and Virgil M. Holland Jr. He graduated from Lafayette High School, and worked at St. Joseph Packaging for 27 years, and then Nestle Purina for over 10 years. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, four wheel riding, and loved Nascar and the Kansas City Chiefs.

Survivors include his parents; his spouse, Debbie Jacob-Holland; daughter, Sheri (David) Bush; son, Virgil F. (Courtney) Holland; and daughter, Teresa Webb (Tom Cline), all of St. Joseph; grandchildren, Hayley Goehring (Caleb Bates), Gauge (Makayla) Holland, Malaigha (Rylan) Bush, Lily Cline, and Kati Cline; and two great grandsons on the way.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, Funeral Services and public live stream; 10 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024, at the Rupp Funeral Home. The Interment will be at the Memorial Park Cemetery.
