ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- The Pony Express Museum is having a contest to celebrate a big anniversary.

Museum staff are asking people to make a list of locations that feature the words "Pony Express" in Missouri and Kansas. The contest honors the 165th anniversary of the Pony Express, which started in 1860 and delivered mail by horseback from St. Joseph to stops along a trail to Sacramento, California.

Forms for entries are available at the museum at 914 Penn St. The deadline to turn entries in is Tuesday, April 1.

All locations listed must include the name, address, city and state. Prizes will be awarded for first, second and third places.
