YWCA seeks nominations for Women of Excellence 2025

The YWCA of St. Joseph is seeking nominations for its 24th Annual Women of Excellence Awards.

Nominations for the 2025 Awards will be accepted until March 21 and can be emailed to WOE@ywcasj.org or dropped off at the YWCA at 304 N. Eighth St. 

The YWCA will accept nominations that are mailed to the office, however, that is not recommended. 

The 2025 Women of Excellence Awards categories include:

• Employer of Excellence - a business or organization that demonstrates outstanding support for women's professional advancement, equity and inclusion in the workplace. 
• Entrepreneur of Excellence - a woman who has achieved exceptional success as a business owner, demonstrating innovation, leadership and community impact.
• Emerging Leader - recognizes a young woman, under 40-years-old, who is making significant contributions and showing great potential in her professional and/or community endeavors.
• Women in the Workplace - a woman who has excelled in her career, demonstrating dedication, expertise and a commitment to excellence in her field.
• Women in Workplace Leadership - a woman who exemplifies strong leadership qualities, inspires others and fosters a culture of collaboration and growth in the workplace through a leadership role.
• Women in Volunteerism - a woman who has made a significant impact in the community through her dedication to volunteerism and service.
• Future Leader - a high school senior who has demonstrated academic and leadership excellence within her school and community. Nominations in this category must come exclusively from the respective high school counselors.

Nomination Rules and Eligibility:

• Nominees must not have been nominated within the past three years.
• Former winners are not eligible to be nominated again in the same category.
• Self-nominations will not be accepted.
• Incomplete nomination forms are subject to rejection.
• Nominees whose actions are found to conflict with the YWCA's mission of empowering women and eliminating racism will be disqualified from consideration.
