Kansas City woman injured in Platte County crash

The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to an early morning crash on Wednesday, Feb. 5, in which a Kansas City woman sustained 'serious' injuries.
According to the MSHP crash report, a vehicle driven by a 36-year-old woman from Kansas City, Missouri, ran off the left side of the westbound 152 exit ramp to Interstate-29 northbound around 12:18 a.m. on Wednesday.
The vehicle returned to I-29 and overturned, leaving the driver with serious injuries.
The woman was transported to North Kansas City Hospital by Kansas City Fire.
MSHP stated that it is unknown if the woman was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
MSHP was assisted at the scene by the Kansas City Police Department.
