The St. Joseph Museums has a Valentine’s “True Crime” event series coming soon to the Glore Psychiatric Museum.

The “Nothing Says Love Like Murder!” event series will begin on Feb. 8, with a “night of Forensic investigation” led by Osteologist, Dr. Tori Zieger.

According to the Cambridge University’s Press and Assessment Dictionary, an Osteologist is “a scientist who studies bones,” Dr. Zieger will show attendees how to ‘read’ the bones of their victim to find age, biological sex, stature, cause of death and more.

Tickets for the first event of the series are available at www.stjosephmuseum.org/events. Ticket cost is $35 per person or $120 for a table of four, reservations for this event are required as space is limited, according to the St. Joseph Museums.

The second and final event of the series will be on Feb. 14 — attendees will play an “immersive game of ‘Whodunnit’ — “Murder at the Asylum.”

Attendees will arrive at the Glore Psychiatric Museum, be greeted by Nurse Audre Hill and begin searching the four floors to find the murderer of Dr. Harlow Mills — a physician from State Lunatic Asylum Two who was known to display nails and objects he had found in patients’ stomach during autopsy.

Tickets for “Murder at the Asylum” are $35 per person or $60 for two, tickets include snacks, drinks, and entrance into the game.

According to the St. Joseph Museums, spaces are limited and reservations are required for “Murder at the Asylum.

Attendees are encouraged to bring wireless ear buds, such as Apple Air Pods, for the event, so that they may hear more efficiently as the event is structured through a series of QR codes.
