The Noyes Home for Children hosted its annual holiday open house on Tuesday.

Visitors enjoyed refreshments, music and activities including gingerbread house decorating, ornament making and Christmas stories narrated by Will Stuck.

Santa was also in attendance and community members were able to tour the Noyes Home and also see the “Help Light the Way” Donor Wall.

“It’s an opportunity for us to encourage people to come in, take a tour of our home and get to learn more about our mission,” said Noyes Home Executive Director, Chelsea Howlett.

Out of all of the activities, Howlett said her favorite was the ornament making.

“I love that the kids make ornaments every year,” said Howlett. “The tree (behind us) is filled with ornaments that they (the kids) have been working very hard on.”

Numerous families and community members attended to take part in the holiday festivities.
