The New Nodaway Humane Society, a “no-kill” shelter in Maryville, Missouri, is hosting a “Home 4 the Holidays” pet adoption event.

The shelter is located at 829 S Depot St. and is open from 1 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays, Fridays and Saturdays and from 1 to 7 p.m. on Wednesdays.

All adoptions will be half-price until Dec. 31 and no appointments are needed.

The half-price event makes adult dogs $50, adult cats are $30 and kittens are $40. Puppies and “high-profile animals” are excluded from the half-price event.

All adoptions include a spay or neuter, up-to-date vaccinations and a microchip insertion before each pet goes to their forever home.

For more information, contact the humane society at 660-562-3333.
