Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri welcomes new board members

A regional organization aiming to increase charitable giving in Northwest Missouri announced three new members to its board of directors.
Monica Bailey, Lindsey Holcumbrink and Joshua Strong have been welcomed into the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri.
The organization began in 2009 and is a public charity with the goal of making philanthropy easier. Donors can set up funds through the organization, which then facilitates donations to nonprofit organizations or scholarships. Bailey, Holcumbrink and Strong each have an extensive resume, bringing skills in community planning, law and business to the foundation.
Bailey is a Tarkio, Missouri, native serving as the executive director of the Atchison County Development Corporation. She is involved in several regional groups and works to promote economic and community development. She currently lives in Rock Port, Missouri, with her family.
Holcumbrink is from Gower, Missouri, and is an attorney at Taylor Siemens Elliott Creedy and Lyle P.C. She has an extensive law background and uses that in various legal organizations, including in the St. Joseph Bar Association, for which she serves as president. She and her family live in St. Joseph.
Joshua Strong, a Harrisonville, Missouri, native, who runs an Edward Jones office. His background focuses on business and finance. He is a member and leader in several organizations, including serving as the president of the Cameron Area Chamber of Commerce. He lives in Kearney, Missouri, with his family.
