Community members can help kids while having a little fun as part of the Big Brothers Big Sisters Bowl For Kids’ Sake event.
The fundraiser is set for Friday, Aug. 2 at Revolution Lanes, with two bowling sessions at 6 and 8:30 p.m.
Participants set up pages on bbbsbfks.org, and teams of six begin raising funds in advance of the event. Money raised helps Big Brothers Big Sisters with its mission of ensuring children have access to positive role models and mentorship.
“Bowl For Kids’ Sake is a fantastic opportunity for our community to come together, have fun, and make a meaningful difference,” said Cheyenne Dorrell-Giles, executive director of Big Brothers Big Sisters. “The bowling event on August 2 is just a celebration of fundraising efforts that have already begun.”
The event features cosmic bowling, refreshments, prizes, raffles and recognition of top fundraisers and teams.
