Northwest Health offers Thursday movie night, tests, training

A local health care provider is hosting a free movie night along with screenings and a life-saving training Thursday evening. 

Northwest Health Services is offering free HIV screenings and will train attendees on how to use Narcan in case of a life-threatening overdose situation. The event will begin at 5 p.m. at the Trail Theater, 111 N. Ninth St.

To round out the evening, there will be a showing of the “Dallas Buyers Club” at 7 p.m.

The movie, HIV screenings and Narcan demonstration are all free. The Trail Theater will be selling food and beverages.
