Local trivia buffs have the chance to test their knowledge and support the library at an event later this month.

The St. Joseph Public Library plans its 11th Annual Library Trivia Night fundraiser at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 29, at the Fairview Golf Course banquet room, 33rd and Pacific streets.

It features eight rounds of questions on general trivia with prizes for the best team after each round. There will also be a 50/50 drawing, and teams can purchase mulligans to use during trivia rounds.

The cost to participate is $90 per table with teams of up to six adults. The doors open at 7:15 p.m. with the first question being read at 7:30 p.m. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks along with grill-style food will be available for purchase. Participants also can bring their own snacks.

Pre-registration is not required, however, reserving a table by paying in advance is recommended. Contact Crystal Stuck at 816-236-2107 or cstuck@sjpl.lib.mo.us to make a reservation.

Proceeds from this event will be used to support programs and services at the library.
