Two join Community Foundation board

Don Lantz and Janet McCauslin are joining the Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri board.

ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- The Community Foundation of Northwest Missouri has two new board members.

Janet McCauslin and Don Lantz have joined the group, which aims to improve the quality of life in Northwest Missouri by promoting and facilitating charitable giving. The organization administers charitable giving for more than 223 funds and manages assets exceeding $41 million. 

McCauslin, who lives in Chillicothe, Missouri, retired as an agency owner from American Family Insurance and previously worked for State Farm Insurance. She also has community banking experience, serves on the Bank of Brookfield-Purdin board and has been involved in several community and civic organizations.

Lantz, who lives in St. Joseph, is retired from Variety Distributors, a general merchandise supplier and distributor, and continues to serve as a consultant for the company. He worked as both a manager and merchandise buyer in the industry during his career.
