QuikTrip opening Thursday
Roller grill food enthusiasts get ready — St. Joseph’s first QuikTrip is set to open this week.
The QuikTrip at 4312 Frederick Ave. will open at 6 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 16, according to an official in the company’s communications department.
St. Joseph will join 56 other cities with a QuikTrip store when it opens at the location off of Interstate 29 and Frederick Avenue.
Previously, the closest store was about 30 miles away in Platte City, Missouri.
The opening date narrowly beats an earlier estimate from a QuikTrip official who had suggested this past August that the store would open in late January.
