The Robidoux Resident Theatre of St. Joseph is bringing another beloved story to the stage of the Missouri Theater.

‘Little Women’ is a classic story that follows the four “March” sisters as they navigate love, loss and the importance of family.

Director Jessica Agnew explained why she wanted to share the message of this particular story.

“To be able to bring the story of the March sisters … four sisters growing up and learning about life and how life can change in an instant and how, no matter if you are blood-related or not, that you have family around you,” Agnew said.

The musical will be brought to life by the talented members of the St. Joseph community, both on-stage and behind the scenes.

Agnew shared her excitement about the opportunity to organize the performance.

“It’s been a dream come true,” Agnew said. “It’s been exciting to see them come together as a whole cast to bring this story to life.”

Agnew went on to explain why the community should come out to see the show.

“Sometimes in life you just need to step away and enjoy something beautiful, and this is something absolutely beautiful that you can’t miss,” Agnew said.

Performances will be held Nov. 8 through Nov. 10, with Friday and Saturday’s performances beginning at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday’s performance beginning at 2 p.m.

Tickets can be purchased online at rrtstjoe.org.
