Three people were injured Friday night after a vehicle flipped on its side after the driver attempted driving “donuts” in a private parking lot north of Savannah.

While in motion, theĀ 2023 Polaris RZR flipped, partially ejecting the two passengers, 28-year-old Kayla Whitmer and 34-year-old Courtney Barron. The vehicle then came to a stop and rested on the two people. Both were taken to Mosaic Life Care with serious injuries.

The driver, 30-year-old Austin Cook, was arrested and charged with a felony DWI involving serious physical injury. Cook had moderate injuries and was released for medical treatment.
