One seriously injured in Gentry County crash

A Ravenwood, Missouri man was seriously injured in a Gentry County crash Tuesday Night. 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports the accident occurred around 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, on Route O, about five miles East of Ravenwood, as 21-year-old Ravenwood resident Freeman J. Miller drove a horse and buggy West. 

45-year-old Cody L. Adwell, also of Ravenwood, and traveling in the same direction as Miller in a 2011 Chevrolet Traverse, reportedly struck the horse and buggy from behind. 

Miller was ejected, suffered serious injuries, and was taken by Grand River Ambulance to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph, according the crash report.
