An Oregon, Missouri, woman is dead and two others are seriously injured after a two-car crash early Sunday morning in Holt County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol report, the accident occurred at 3:29 a.m. Sunday on U.S. 59, a half mile southeast of Oregon.

Troopers report that 21-year-old Fillmore, Missouri, resident Chelsey J. Guyer, who was driving north, crossed the center line and struck 57-year-old Oregon resident Angela S. Woods, who was driving south, head-on.

Woods was pronounced dead at the scene. Guyer and a passenger, 18-year-old Oregon resident Peyton A. Ohnemus, were taken to Mosaic Life Care in St. Joseph with serious injuries. After arriving, Guyer was taken to Truman Medical Center by helicopter.

Troopers say that Woods and Ohnemus were wearing seat belts at the time of the crash and that Guyer was not.
