Fans braved the heat at Chiefs training camp
By Kyle Schmidt
Chiefs Kingdom sweated training camp out on Wednesday with temperatures already feeling like the upper 90s by 10 a.m.
It was easily the hottest day of the 2024 training camp but it did not stop fans from supporting their champions. The Chiefs are a team that work in 100-degree temperatures in the beginning of the season but finish the season in temperatures in the feels-like minus 30 degrees.
Some fans sacrificed wearing a Chiefs jersey so they could stay as comfortable as they can in the sun. Lots of light gray T-shirts were seen being worn throughout the camp.
Fanatics were able to find some cooler areas if they went into the merchandise store. The new building allows some coverage from the sun.
Fans stocked up on water bottles and took advantage of Kona Ice, anything to try and stay cool to watch their Chiefs practice in the intense heat.
