One man killed in motorcycle crash Saturday night

A man is dead after a two-vehicle crash involving a motorcycle Saturday evening.

The St. Joseph Police Department confirmed Kenneth Hart, born in 1989, was killed after colliding with the passenger side of a minivan at 2205 N. Belt Highway at 9:15 p.m.

Sgt. James Tonn said when police arrived on scene, one minor was injured in the vehicle while another was on the ground. The minor was transported via helicopter to Children’s Mercy and is expected to have a full recovery.

According to SJPD, everyone in the vehicle wore seatbelts or child restraints.
