Visitors to St. Joseph Memorial Park and Mount Auburn cemeteries during Memorial Day weekend are being reminded to collect any items left on graves.

Staff will conduct a semi-annual cemetery cleanup on Monday, June 3. Any remaining flowers, decorations and other items will be cleared that morning so crews can mow and conduct maintenance of the cemetery grounds. There are no exceptions.

Families are asked to remove items they wish to keep by the evening of Sunday, June 2, or they will be disposed of.

The cemeteries conduct two general cleanups annually. Once the first Monday in March and once the Monday following Memorial Day.
