AR Workshop held a Paint and Sip event Saturday afternoon at Felix St. Gourmet’s Room 108. It was the organization’s first such event since 2022.

Guests at the event were invited for an afternoon of drinks and wood tray crafting. Options for what to craft included a lazy susan, a tray with handles and a pedestal.

The partnership between Felix St. Gourmet and AR Workshop was something both parties get value out of.

“You get to experience our workshop and do a fun decorative craft for your home,” said Amy Brooks, owner of AR Workshop. ” It goes with what’s going on down here with their food and drinks and then be able to just have something you get to taste, but experience the the whole shebang of being able to do a craft and come down here and see the experience, the room and the environment.”

Wood crafts aren’t the only thing AR Workshop excels in.

“We try to let folks come in and just experience it,” Brooks said. “Families like to come in and do fun things with us. We have a lot of folks kind of go toward the experience for gifts this Christmas. So we would just host family groups that would come in and make stuff together.”
