Restaurant Week events kick off

The St. Joseph Chamber of Commerce and Joe Town Fun kicked off the fifth annual Restaurant Week on Thursday at Room 108 Downtown.
Restaurant Week spans 11 days from Feb. 22 to March 3. During this time, participating establishments will offer special menus and discounted prices to attract customers. It’s an opportunity for the community to show support for local businesses and explore new dining experiences.
Kristi Bailey, director of communications for the Chamber, emphasized the importance of supporting local businesses and shared ways in which St. Joseph residents can contribute.
“We really want to encourage, of course, people to get out and support our local restaurants in a time that is generally a little downtime income-wise,” Bailey said.
“They’ve prepared some new menus, so people can try some different dishes, and we really want to encourage people to go eat somewhere they’ve never been before,” Bailey continued.
On top of those specials, which you can find at stjrestaurantweek.com, the Chamber and Joe Town Fun are coordinating events at Hazel’s Coffee, River Bluff Brewing and plenty more. Information for those events can also be found on the Restaurant Week website.
