Antique Mall back in St. Joseph

The Antique Mall is back in St. Joseph, holding it’s annual event this weekend at the Civic Arena.

Over 60 vendors are in attendance with a wide range of products available for sale.

“We antique vendors are like a family,” said Angie Hummer, co-promoter of the event. “We’re a community. And so some of these people have been with us since day one. I know that we have some Nebraska vendors and Iowa, of course, Kansas City.”

An event like this takes a lot of preparation, and Hummer says organization for the Antique Mall has been months in the making.

“We have fliers that we pass out through the [Jessia James Antique Mall],” she said. “So we start putting those out probably three or four months ago. The billboards have probably been up maybe six weeks, eight weeks, something like that. It’s a process of all of the different marketing that we do social media to get it up and going.”

The Antique Mall continues Sunday, running from 11-4.
