MoDOT issues emergency closure of MO Route 92 at I-29

The Missouri Department of Transportation announced Monday that Missouri Route 92 at Interstate 29 in Platte City will be closed in both directions indefinitely for emergency repairs.

The closure comes after the bridge was struck on Monday afternoon, MoDOT said. The ramps at I-29 and Route 92 Interchange will be right turn only.

MoDOT advises drivers to utilize I-29 to adjacent interchanges at Mexico City Avenue and at Main Street/Route HH as a detour.
