Anyone with an unused wheelchair, cane or walker has an opportunity to donate it to someone in need next month.

Spine and Sport Physical Therapy is hosting a wheelchair drive for these items on behalf of Wheels for the World.

Wheels for the World provides free wheelchairs to children in countries without the resources to provide them. The wheelchairs collected are transported to restoration centers, which are in correctional facilities where inmates repair them.

Wheelchairs, canes and walkers can be donated from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 21 and 22, at Spine and Sport Physical Therapy at 1213 N. Belt Highway.
