Flu clinic set for Oct. 11 in Doniphan County

The Doniphan County Health Department will have its drive-thru flu clinic next week.

The event will run from 9 a,m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at 201 S. Main St. in Troy, Kansas. Those arriving for the vaccines should pull into the alley behind the health department from the south and will be directed from there.

Medicaid, Medicare and most private insurance are accepted, and people should bring those cards. Consent forms can be filled out ahead of time at www.dpcountyks.com and they also can be found at banks, post offices and senior centers in the county.

In addition to the vaccines, food trucks including the Coffee Bus, Scoop Skool Bus and the Country Cabin will be parked in front of the ball field at various times during the event.
