Amberwell Health upgrading communications technology

A health system that serves several communities in Northeast Kansas is upgrading its communication system.
Amberwell Health, which includes medical centers in Atchison and Hiawatha, and clinics in Troy and Highland, is working with MetTel, to modernize its network to improve patient experience.
Amberwell is replacing an aging patchwork of communications technology from previous ownership that has led to inconsistent connectivity and unreliable call flow. The multi-phase project includes upgraded infrastructure, hardware and software that MetTel officials say will eliminate dropped calls, improve response times and allow seamless collaboration for staff at all locations.
