A longtime employer in St. Joseph is working to take care of the dental health of the community.

Specialty Industries at 3801 S. Leonard Road is partnering with Elks Mobile Dental Unit to provide free dental services for its workers and members of the St. Joseph community, according to a press release from the nonprofit.

Specialty Industries has operated in St. Joseph for over 50 years and has long advocated for employment opportunities for people with disabilities.

Appointments can be made for the Elks Mobile Dental Unit, which is parked in front of the Specialty Industries building, by calling 816-404-6904.
