City Council meeting canceled for Dec. 23

St. Joseph’s next City Council meeting scheduled for Dec. 23 has been canceled by council members.
Council members authorized an ordinance at their last meeting for the cancellation of the Monday, Dec. 23 meeting, the last of the 2024 calendar year.
The next meeting will take place on Jan. 6, 2025 and is expected to include a first reading for a contract for new City Manager Mike Schumacher.

Amendment to city code to implement new fee structure for landfill dumping rates.
Purchase orders with Auxier Construction Co. and JD Bishop Construction in an amount not to exceed $204,368 for the Urban Trail System maintenance project using funds from the capital projects budget.
Purchase of two portable Moswin interoperable radios from Motorola solutions in the amount of $12,991 and programming services from Midwest mobile radio services in the amount of $180 to be used by the emergency management director.
Real estate purchase agreement with Bethany Gregson (buyer) to sell real estate located at 3004 Messanie Street for the amount of $105,000.
Contract with Docupet to facilitate the licensing of pets within the city through an accessible, user-friendly online platform.
