Cerro Gordo County elected officials sworn into office Monday

Elected county officials were sworn in at the Cerro Gordo County Courthouse on Monday, Dec. 30.

Chris Watts, District 1 supervisor; Carl Ginapp, District 2 supervisor; Dave Hepperly, county sheriff; and Adam Wedmore, county auditor; were sworn into their offices.

Watts will be serving his third term as supervisor and has announced that he will not seek another term. Ginapp defeated Lori Meacham Ginapp for the District 3 seat and will begin his first term.

Hepperly won the sheriff’s seat after Kevin Pals retired from the role. Wedmore will be beginning his second term as auditor.
