State representative, commission candidates speaking at forum

Voters have a last chance to meet candidates for local offices ahead of the November election at a Chamber of Commerce breakfast next week.

Those running for three contested seats in Buchanan County have been invited to speak at the moderated forum from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at Stoney Creek Hotel & Conference Center, 1201 N. Woodbine Road.

They include four people running for state representative seats, Bill Falkner and Andrew Gibson in District 10 and Sean Pouche and Andrea Denning in District 13. Also invited are Buchanan County Western District Commissioner candidates Ron Hook and Everett D. Goddard Jr.
