ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- Missouri Western students got the chance to network and discover job opportunities at the university's All Majors Career Fair on Tuesday.

Exercise science student Anna Weberg said the event offered her a chance to explore possible career paths.

"I think it's a good thing to come out here to just kind of reach other job opportunities and see what there is out in the community," Weberg said.

Representatives from several career fields were on hand at the event, including those working in emergency services, finance and even for the St. Joseph Mustangs.

Psychology student Delaney Massey said the event gives students a good preview of what to expect after college.

"The career fair is certainly a first glance at what students are really going into and where to start off," Massey said.

Ady Horn, a student majoring in construction engineering technology, said she was excited to see all of her options.

"There's just so many opportunities within my degree, so just kind of seeing all the different possibilities that my degree can go towards is really beneficial," Horn said.

Missouri Western's Career Development Center hosts the event annually, aiming to connect students with careers.
