After announcing proposed plans for a new medical school in June, Benedictine College is looking to hire a dean.

This is the latest milestone for the proposed School of Osteopathic Medicine on Benedictine’s campus in Atchison, Kansas.

“A Catholic medical school faithful to the teachings of the church and committed to emphasizing Christ-centered medical care, can help transform American health care,” said Benedictine College President Stephen D. Minnis in a release.

The college has partnered with organizations that hold national success records in accreditation and fundraising to ensure the project succeeds.

Interested candidates, or those wishing to nominate a qualified individual for the position are encouraged to submit a letter of interest and a most up-to-date resume to BCMedical@benedictine.edu.
