SAVANNAH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) — A new salon offering a variety of services is set to open in Savannah later this month.

Babe Cave Salon, located at 103 S. Fourth St. in Savannah’s town square, will open on Saturday, March 29, and plans to have services ranging from hair extensions to Vitamin B12 injections and more.

Owner Charlee Harris said she is excited to open the new location in Savannah to provide a friendly atmosphere and excellent service.

”I wanted a salon that is a very non-toxic environment, very friendly,” Harris said. “Because I feel like salons are just very cliquey and I just want something to where everyone feels comfortable and just like we have a good space, a good group of girls.”

Although she is not from Savannah, Harris said the decision to open the salon there was an easy one.

”There’s just so many other businesses here and I think it’s very homey and community, you know,” Harris said. “So I just want to be a part of it.”

Babe Cave Salon will include several independent stylists who rent spots at the location. Harris said she is happy to provide a space to help others thrive.

”It’s going to be great to have these other girls be a part of it too and their businesses are going to take off, so I’m excited,” Harris said.

The grand opening of the salon will be at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, March 29, featuring champagne, snacks and a raffle.

Harris said the stylists will start taking appointments at the beginning of April.
