A popular local Chinese restaurant is set for a comeback in St. Joseph under new management after closing its doors in December.

Twin Dragon owner Mohammad “Sharif” Nazar confirmed to News-Press NOW the restaurant will reopen at its previous location at 2604 N. Belt Highway.

While no official reopening day has been set, Nazar said he expects the restaurant to open in the next two weeks with a new and improved look once they clear the final hurdles.

The restaurant will offer delivery and takeout in the beginning before expanding to provide a new dine-in experience. There will not be a buffet.

Twin Dragon will bring back its previous chef to prepare many of the popular items that were offered before, along with some potential new options.

News-Press NOW will provide further updates on Twin Dragon’s reopening when new information becomes available.
