Lang, T. Joan 1938-2025 Tiffany Springs, Mo.

TIFFANY SPRINGS, Mo. – T. Joan Lang (McWilliams), 87, passed away April 4, 2025, at Benton House of Tiffany Springs, Missouri. Joan was born Feb. 17, 1938, in Easton, Missouri, to Coval and Thelma (Hines) McWilliams.

She worked as Foundation Accountant for Missouri Western State University, retiring in 2002. Joan was a lifelong member of Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church in San Antonio, Missouri, and a member of PEO Chapter ED.

She married Norman P. Lang on Nov. 3, 1962, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 17, 2021. Also preceding her in death were her parents; a brother, Larry; and sister, Barbara.

Survivors include son, David Lang (Lucinda); daughters, Susan Hoppe (Jon), Julie Mason (Ralph); grandchildren, Josh, Jacob, Jonah, Grace, and Ian; brother, Dan McWilliams (Cheryl); other relatives and friends.

Joan enjoyed sewing, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Harmony Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

Services will be Saturday, April 12, 2025, at 10 a.m. at Heaton-Bowman-Smith & Sidenfaden Chapel. Inurnment will follow at Horigan Chapel in Mount Olivet Cemetery. As published in the St. Joseph News-Press.
