ST. JOSEPH, Mo. (News-Press NOW) -- Triumph Foods is donating $25,000 to the St. Joseph School District – its third of four annual donations totaling $100,000.

The funds will support multiple programs, including the ELD program, which provides interpretive services, community resources, and cultural support for students and families from other countries or who speak a language other than English.

The district continues to see a significant increase in English Learner students. According to 2024 Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education data, the school district has 667 English learners enrolled – a 7.58% increase from 620 students in 2023.

Since 2019, Triumph Foods has supported the school district through donations, grants, and thought leadership programs. It meets annually with the district to review student impact and discuss future needs in the district.
